Glasgow food drive underway
GLASGOW, Ky. – A food pantry in Glasgow is hosting their yearly food drive this week.
The Community Relief Fund Food Pantry is hosting their 12th annual “To The Brim” food drive now through Sept. 5.
Already, multiple $10 bags of food have been purchased and donated at the Houchens IGA and Walmart in Glasgow.
The food will be going to feed locals in need.
The founder of the drive, Dr. Bharat Mody, says the food drives motto is “we cannot fall asleep when others have to sleep hungry.”
To donate, go to the Houchens or Walmart in Glasgow or send a monetary donation to the food drive by mailing a check to 317 Columbia Ave., Glasgow, Ky. 42141.
