Three men behind bars charged with strangulation
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Three men are behind bars two counties in South Central Kentucky on charges of strangulation.
In Logan County, Jerry Stavely is accused of strangling his girlfriend and biting her multiple times.
According to his citation, when deputies made contact with Stavely, he resisted arrest and had to be tased by law enforcement.
Stavely is lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
A Warren County man, Kelve McDowell, is accused of strangulation after Judge John Grise signed an indictment warrant.
Another Warren County man, Dedrick Johnson, is accused of strangulation and fourth degree assault.
According to his citation, Johnson is accused of strangling a woman with an extension cord and again with his hands.
Both McDowell and Johnson are lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
