Search warrants in Clarksville lead to discovery of drugs, $20,000 in cash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Three people are behind bars after a drug bust in Clarksville, Tennessee.
According to a social media post by the Clarksville Police Department on Wednesday, authorities responded in late September for an unrelated to call to service, which led to contact with Alex Zermeno.
Authorities say this resulted in an investigation that led to two search warrants.
Police say its Special Operations Unit took over, resulting in the execution of those warrants on Oct. 16.
As a result of these developments, authorities say Zermeno, Jordyn Brooks and Jaylan Brooks were arrested.
In addition, police say they located 18 guns, including two that had been converted to fully automatic, along with a large amount of narcotics and nearly $20,000 in cash.
