Bowling Green man charged with vehicle theft

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is behind bars after allegedly stealing a vehicle.

According to a uniform citation, just before 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walnut Creek Court in an attempt to locate a stolen vehicle.

Authorities say the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier that day.

Upon arrival, deputies say they observed a vehicle matching the description in the driveway with a male subject in the driver’s seat.

Authorities say the male was identified as 24-year-old Tyson Alimanovic of Bowling Green.

Deputies say Alimanovic admitted to the taking the van and stated it was due to being in an argument.

Alimanovic was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.

He faces a charge of theft or disposition auto between $1,000 and $10,000.
