2 safely escape from house fire in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Two people are reportedly uninjured following a house fire in Hopkinsville.

According to a social media post by Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, on Sunday, Oct. 25, firefighters responded to a working structure fire in the 300 block of Wayne Drive.

The Hopkinsville Fire Department says multiple callers contacted 911 to report the incident.

Upon arrival, crews say they located heavy smoke.

Two occupants were home at the time and were able to escape without injury, the agency says.
