BG Area Chamber of Commerce names vice president of finance and administration

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the selection of Brett Lanham as vice president of finance and administration.

According to a release by the chamber on Tuesday, Lanham will “provide strategic financial leadership and administrative oversight for the chamber and its affiliated entities.”

This will include leading financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash and investment management, compliance and risk management, while also overseeing human resources, payroll and other administrative functions, the chamber says.

As a member of the Chamber’s senior leadership team, Lanham will serve as a strategic advisor to the president and CEO, staff leadership, committees and boards.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brett to the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce team,” said Jim Page, president and CEO of the chamber. “Her combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and operational leadership will be a tremendous asset to our organization. Brett has demonstrated an ability to build strong financial systems, manage complex operations, and provide leadership during periods of significant organizational change. Those skills will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the Chamber, serve our partners, and enhance the broader business community.”

Lanham joins the chamber after serving as the senior-most finance executive with ZEB Metals, LLC in South Carolina.

Before that, the chamber says Lanham spent nearly five years with Aleris/Commonwealth Rolled Products in Lewisport, Kentucky.

“I’m really excited to join the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and be a part of a team that supports and brings together our local business community,” Lanham said. “I’m looking forward to meeting more of the people who make Bowling Green such a great place to live and work and finding ways to contribute to the Chamber’s continued success.”

A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, the chamber says Lanham holds a  bachelor of arts in accounting from Brescia University.
