Multiple facing child sexual abuse offenses in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Three people are facing several child sexual abuse offenses in Barren County.

According to an indictment filed on Sept. 16, 52-year-old LB “Utah” Kelley of Glasgow, 53-year-old Dawn Kelley of Glasgow and 38-year-old Kristin McEwing of Cave City are indicted on multiple charges.

According to the document, LB Kelley is formally charged with first-degree sodomy, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree criminal abuse, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree rape, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree sodomy, victim under 12 years of age and first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

Court documents state Dawn Kelley is formally charged with first-degree sodomy, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree rape, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree strangulation, first-degree rape, victim under 12 years of age and first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

In addition, court documents state McEwing is formally charged with first-degree sodomy, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree rape, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age, first-degree rape, victim under 12 years of age and first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

According to court documents, the charges stem from alleged incidents that took place between January 1, 2018 and February 14, 2023 in Barren County.

According to the indictment, each individual is being held at the Barren County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
