Nashville Airport Authority votes unanimously to proceed with airport name modification to honor Dolly Parton
NASHVILLE – On Friday, the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) voted unanimously to start the modification process of the airport’s name to honor Dolly Parton’s legacy.
Officials will meet with appropriate parties to determine how Parton’s name will be incorporated, according to the statement.
“This vote represents the first step in a multifaceted process. In the coming months, we anticipate having more definitive plans to share regarding the next steps and implementation,” says MNAA.
