Bonnaroo festival to take ‘much-needed year off’ in 2027

MANCHESTER, Tenn. – The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is canceled for 2027, according to organizers.
The update was shared on Friday to social media, where organizers say the festival is taking “a much-needed year off in 2027” due to back-to-back years of storms and needing to allow the farm and venue time to recover.
The team says it implemented 4.5 miles of new roadways and 135 acres of new grass for the 2026 event, which took “a great deal of effort and money.”
“To our Bonnaroo family, thank you for an epic Bonnaroo 2026. Our hearts are filled to the brim from the weekend that we shared in June. The Farm remains as special as ever, and for a few days, we were once again reminded of the good things in this world,” the team stated.
Organizers say the break was not an easy decision, but they believe it will “only make Bonnaroo better.”
We will provide updates on this event as they are released.
