Hot Rods release 2027 home game schedule

Bowling Green, Ky. – The Bowling Green Hot Rods are excited to unveil their home schedule for the 2027 South Atlantic League Season. The season will consist of 132 games with 66 at Bowling Green Ballpark in Bowling Green.

The Hot Rods will start their home schedule on April 6, sparking a six-game series against the Hudson Valley Renegades, High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. The month of April will end with a series against the Asheville Tourists, High-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, beginning on April 20.

Bowling Green will host another two series during the month of May. The Brooklyn Cyclones, High-A affiliate of the New York Mets, will pay the Hot Rods a visit from May 11-16. Between May 25-30, the Hot Rods will take on their closest opponent, the Rome Emperors, High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.

As the calendar flips to June, Bowling Green will welcome the Winston-Salem Dash, High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, for a six-game series starting on June 8. The Hot Rods end June and begin July with the first two-week homestand of the season. From June 29 to July 4 the Hot Rods take on the Greensboro Grasshoppers, High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. During the back-half of the homestand, Bowling Green goes up against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, between July 6 and 11. The final home series of the month begins on July 20 with the Rome Emperors returning to Bowling Green Ballpark.

The Hot Rods wrap up the home schedule with three series across the month of August. The Greenville Drive, High-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, make the trip for a series beginning on August 3. The final two series of the season come consecutively, starting with the Asheville Tourists on August 17. The home schedule concludes with a six-game set against the Hub City Spartanburgers, High-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, between August 24-29.
