Pedestrian sustains injuries after being struck by vehicle in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Barren County.

The Glasgow Police Department (GPD) responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian injury accident at the intersection of S L Wells Boulevard and Grandview Avenue Thursday, according to a release.

Police say a vehicle driven by Justin Matthews was attempting to turn left onto S L Wells Blvd from Grandview Ave when it struck Kenneth Harper, who was walking in the crosswalk.

Harper was transported for treatment of an injury, according to the release.
