UPDATE: Authorities identify body found in Leitchfield

UPDATE (8/3/26) – The decedent has been identified as 54-year-old David A. Carnahan of Leitchfield, according to K105.

Officials say Carnahan was working as a DoorDash driver at the time of his death.

Grayson County Coroner Kevin Pharis told K105 that Carnahan died of natural causes.

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – Authorities are investigating a death in Grayson County.

According to K105, an unresponsive male was found inside a vehicle on Kelly Street in Leitchfield Thursday afternoon. The vehicle was located in a driveway. The man did not reside at the home.

The Leitchfield Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene.

The 54-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to K105.

The investigation is ongoing.
