1 injured after SUV hydroplanes in Christian County

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – One person is injured after a vehicle hydroplaned in Christian County.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 169 at the 5-mile marker Monday at 1:20 am.

CCSO says its preliminary investigation shows that an SUV was traveling southbound when the vehicle hydroplaned, went into the median, and overturned several times.

Hopkinsville Fire/EMS extracted the driver from the vehicle and transported the driver to a local hospital for injury treatment.

The investigation is ongoing.
