Victim identified as 20-year-old Bowling Green man after drowning at Nolin Lake

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is dead after a reported drowning at Nolin Lake on Sunday.

According to the Edmonson County Coroner’s Office, the victim has been identified as 20-year-old Dartel Long Jr. of Bowling Green.

The coroner’s office states the incident occurred on the evening of July 19. Emergency personnel responded to Juniper Lane off of Dickeys Mill Road at Nolin Lake around dusk, according to the coroner’s office.

No foul play is suspected, the coroner’s office says.

Responding agencies included the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department, EMS, Edmonson County Emergency Management, the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Army Corps of Engineers, officials say.
