17-year-old dead after reported shooting in Paducah

PADUCAH, Ky. – A 17-year-old has died after a reported shooting in Paducah, authorities say.

According to a social media post by the Paducah Police Department, around 10:55 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Bronson Avenue for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, authorities say they located a 17-year-old male who had been shot.

Authorities say they provided first-aid until medical personnel arrived on scene.

The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital but did not survive, authorities say.
