Daytime lane closure on East Seventh Ave. in downtown Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) — A daytime lane closure is in place on Kentucky 234, also known as E. Seventh Avenue, in downtown Bowling Green.

According to Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the closure is between Kentucky Street and College Street and is expected to remain in place for several weeks.

Officials say the closure is needed for nearby building construction. The work is being completed under an approved permit, with temporary traffic controls in place to protect drivers, pedestrians and construction crews.

Motorists should slow down, use caution and watch for workers. Delays are possible, especially during peak travel times.
