Hart County Emergency Management warns of flash flooding

HART COUNTY, Ky. – Hart County Emergency Management is warning of flash flooding in northern Hart County Sunday.

This follows storms across local counties Saturday.

Emergency officials are warning drivers to avoid the following roads due to flooding:

– 5800 block of Priceville Road
– 10788 Raider Hollow Road
– Highway 728 at Cave Hill Road
– Flat Rock Road at Cane Run
– KY-728 at Smiths Cemetery
– KY-1140 at East Sullivan Road

Flooded roads may not be limited to this list and are developing.

If you do not need to travel, emergency officials are asking drivers in the area to stay home.

Never attempt to drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown!
