2 more flood-related deaths confirmed in Hardin, Jefferson counties

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Two more deaths have resulted from recent flooding in Hardin and Jefferson counties, according to Gov. Andy Beshear.
Officials say this marks six total deaths from flooding that occurred last weekend in the Commonwealth. The governor provided the update on social media Tuesday morning, stating the following:
“Kentucky, I’m sad to share we have more tough news from last week’s flooding. Two more deaths have been confirmed, out of Hardin and Jefferson counties, bringing the total lost to six. Please join Britainy and me as we pray for their families during this difficult time.”
Locally, flooding heavily impacted roads in Butler County, Hart County and Edmonson County.
