Vehicle heavily damaged by fireworks in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKDZ) – A vehicle is destroyed after catching on fire in Hopkinsville on Saturday night, according to a report by WKDZ.

WKDZ reports Hopkinsville police say the owner of the SUV “accidentally shot a firework into his own vehicle,” catching it on fire. The incident reportedly took place on South Main Street, according to WKDZ.

WKDZ states the heat from the fire also damaged a car near the SUV, however, no injuries were reported.
