14 injured in I-24 crash in Christian County, authorities say

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Christian County authorities are investigating a multiple-vehicle crash.

According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS (HFE), first responders reported to the scene of an accident involving an 18-wheeler and at least three vehicles at the 91-mile marker of I-24 westbound Sunday just before 4 pm.

HFE says 14 patients are receiving treatment at local hospitals. All injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

Both westbound and eastbound lanes were closed during the incident, according to HFE.

Fort Campbell EMS, Oak Grove VFD, Todd County EMS, Montgomery County EMS, Christian County Emergency Management, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, and Christian County Rescue assisted HFE.

The investigation is ongoing.
