Warren County fire units respond to house fire on Plano Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Fire Department System (WCFDS) responded to a structure fire Thursday evening.

According to WCFDS, units from Plano, Alvaton, Browning and Woodburn were dispatched to the 1400 block of Plano Road to reports of a house on fire at approximately 9:30 pm.

Fire units from Plano located a one-story house with smoke emitting from it. Additional fire units arrived and began attacking the fire.

WCFDS says early reports indicated that the sole occupant was inside the building, but the individual was later located outside.

Fire units quickly controlled the fire and contained it to the room of origin and one hallway.

38 volunteer firefighters responded to the scene, according to WCFDS.

Plano Deputy Chief Moyers was the incident commander.
