Kentucky State Police Post 3 reminds drivers of traffic safety checkpoints

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police Post is reminding drivers of traffic safety checkpoints.

According to a release, KSP uses checkpoints to deter law violations and keep the public safe.

The checkpoints will be located in high-visibility areas and will focus on operator impairment, vehicle equipment deficiencies (confirming appropriate vehicle registration and insurance) and driver licensing, according to KSP.

KSP Post Three serves Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Simpson, and Warren County.
