Eastridge named Purples baseball head coach

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Independent School District announced its new Head Baseball Coach Monday.
According to a release, Jay Eastridge has been selected to lead the Bowling Green Purples baseball program.
Eastridge recently served as Associate Head Baseball Coach at Central Hardin High School. He led the to a 19-15 record and a 17th District Championship in 2026.
Eastridge also served as a volunteer assistant for the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association Junior and Senior East-West All-Star Games.
He was a standout player for LaRue County High School before playing collegiately at Western Kentucky University and Lindsey Wilson College.
“I am incredibly excited, honored, and truly blessed to lead the Bowling Green High School baseball program. I look forward to pouring into these young men and molding them into great husbands, fathers, employees, and exceptional ballplayers. The work starts now, and the standard will be high.
