KYTC updates roadway conditions in South Central Kentucky region

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (June 28, 2026) – Following a weather system that brought heavy rain and severe weather to the District 3 area overnight Friday through Sunday, multiple roads are impassable due to flooding.

The list below is the current list of known flooded state roads at the time of the release. Conditions change rapidly and roads may become impassable before an updated list can be sent. This list does not contain city or county maintained roads that may be impassable.

Please be mindful that more flooded roads are expected. Please do not attempt to drive through possible high water. Please do not drive around or move barricades and signs. For road conditions across the Commonwealth, please visit GoKY.ky.gov.

Butler County

KY 2269 – Mile point 0-1

KY 2713 –Mile point 0-1

Edmonson County

KY 187 Mile Point 3.0- The bridge over Sunfish Creek has been damaged and is closed until an assessment can be conducted and repairs can be made.

KY 238 – Mile point 9.6

KY 655 – Mile point 2 to 3

Logan County

KY 3201 – Mile point 0.41

U.S. 68 – Mile point 7.0 to 7.4 and 8.6

Monroe County

KY 214 Ferry – The KY 214 ferry at Turkey Neck Bend is currently closed due to debris int he water.
