Barren County Fair runs until Saturday
BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Fair is back with more rides and fun for your family. The fair has been visiting Barren County for decades.
Each week has different events along with food, rides, games and drinks to keep yourself cool. Organizers say there’s fun for all ages at the fair.
“They can expect some great food, an enormous number of drinks, we’ve got plenty of games. We’ve got plenty of rides and overall, a great fair atmosphere,” said Elizabeth Wood with the Temple Hill Lions Club.
Hill said that local support has been the keys to keeping the fair running.
“We have been blessed here at our fairgrounds with local sponsorships but I know that the impact is out there and so, for the families that are unable to take a long distant vacation we are praying that they bring those kiddos out to the fair for a couple of nights,” she said.
The fair runs off volunteers and prioritizes fundraising to help local nonprofits. The fair opens from 6PM to 10PM every day until Saturday.
Admissions start at $15 and if the person is 56 inches and below, they get in for free.
