Tractor-trailer overturns, Barren County roadway reopens

Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management says the road has reopened.

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office says a small portion of roadway at Old Bowling Green Road and the Outler Loop intersection near the exit/entry 8 ramps of the Cumberland Parkway is closed.

BCSO says the roadway will be closed indefinitely as a result of a tractor-trailer overturn.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

BCSO asks motorists to drive with caution and to avoid the area if possible.

The investigation is ongoing.
