Search ongoing for 83-year-old Grayson County man

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (K105) – A search continues Thursday morning for a missing Grayson County man.
According to a report by K105, the search for 83-year-old Eugene Logsdon is resuming Thursday after it was postponed Wednesday night.
K105 reports over a dozen agencies are involved in the search, which began Wednesday afternoon. In addition, K105 states the man had been fishing in the Rock Creek area in the 7500 block of Grayson Springs Road before being reported missing.
According to the report, the search is a joint effort between Grayson County Emergency Management, Leitchfield, Clarkson, Falls of Rough, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Clarkson Police Department, Kentucky State Police, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife and search and rescue squads from Hart, Nelson and Barren counties.
K105 further reports the missing man’s truck and other belongings were located near his last known location.
The report says first responders searched both water and land on Wednesday, including at the Iberia Boat Ramp and the water near Rock Creek bridge on Grayson Springs Road.
An underwater drone, provided by Barren County, was also used, according to K105, along with a dog provided by Hart County, capable of detecting bodies in water.
Logsdon was last known to be wearing old blue jeans and a blue plaid button-up shirt, according to emergency management.
