1 juvenile shot Tuesday morning in Bowling Green, police say

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department responded to a shooting early Tuesday morning.

According to a release, officers responded to a shots-fired complaint in front of 215 Valleybrook Avenue at 1:45 am.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS transported the juvenile to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

BGPD says detectives determined that the shooting happened following an argument between several juveniles in the street.

Investigators are attempting to locate surveillance video of the area and speak with potential witnesses.

The investigation is ongoing.
