Collision to cause traffic delays in Edmonson County

EDMONSON COUNTY, Ky. – A single-vehicle crash has been reported in Edmonson County on Monday.

According to Sheriff James Edward Vincent with the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on Main Street involving a vehicle and utility pole.

Vincent says traffic is slow moving at this time.

He says drivers should expect repairs to take around six hours.

According to Warren Rural Electric Cooperatives web outage viewer, as of approximately 11 a.m., 139 households in Edmonson County are without power as a result of the crash. WRECC says it has already restored power to about 500 households in the area.

In addition, a social media post by Edmonson County Judge Executive Ronald Scott Lindsey states that the Edmonson County courthouse and community center offices are closed at this time due to the power outage.
