Barren County businesses to participate in ‘Paint the Town Yellow’ event

GLASGOW, Ky. – Barren County is getting ready to shine this summer as local businesses “Paint the Town Yellow.”

For one weekend only, locally-owned businesses, including restaurants, coffee shops and more, are bringing their own creative take on the theme, according to Glasgow-Barren County KY Tourism.

This includes sunny shop fronts, summer-inspired specials, citrus-themed foods and other unique takes.

No two stops are expected to be alike.

The event is scheduled for this Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13. So far, Glasgow-Barren County KY Tourism says over two dozen businesses are participating throughout Glasgow and Barren County.

Some of the businesses taking part include The Hive Coffee & Bakehouse, Highland Social, Chief’s Comics, All About Me Boutique, Absolutely Sweet, LLC and many additional locations.
