1 dead after Morgan County crash

WEST LIBERTY, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Morgan County.

According to a release, troopers responded to an injury collision on Highway 460 West near West Liberty Vet Clinic Friday afternoon.

Investigators say a tow truck traveling on US 460 entered the passing lane while another vehicle was slowing down to turn onto Veterinarian Lane.

An SUV, driven by 66-year-old Linda Sue Bush of West Liberty, was exiting Veterinarian Lane and was struck by the tow truck, according to the release.

Bush was transported to a local hospital before being flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, for treatment. She later died due to injuries sustained in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
