Man charged with DUI after allegedly leaving minors in wrecked vehicle in Pike County

MOUTHCARD, Ky. – One man is facing charges after allegedly leaving minors in a wrecked vehicle in Pike County.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers received a 911 call on Monday regarding a single-vehicle collision in the Mouthcard community of Pike County.
Authorities say they responded to the scene on South River Road and located a vehicle occupied by four juvenile passengers.
Troopers say the driver, identified as 37-year-old Ryan Wilson, had fled the scene of the collision and left all four juveniles behind.
One juvenile exited the vehicle and walked to a nearby business to get help in calling 911, authorities say.
Troopers later located Wilson around 1.5 miles from the scene of the wreck.
As a result of the investigation, Wilson was arrested and transported to the Pike County Detention Center.
He faces charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, endangering the welfare of a minor and license to be in possession.
The investigation is ongoing.
