The Mint announces record jackpot exceeding $1 million

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Mint at Kentucky Downs announced a record jackpot Tuesday.
According to a release, a jackpot at its Franklin location has surpassed $1 million.
The record total is the first in state history since gaming machines were legalized in 2011, according to The Mint.
The previous record at The Mint was $780,307. The figure was set at Kentucky Downs in 2019.
According to a release, The Mint has seen an increase in payouts. This includes a $389,000 win in March and a $222,30 in February.
The Mint says the jackpot can be won on the Venus Gold and Fire of Horus gaming machines.
The Mint Gaming Hall at Kentucky Downs is located at 5629 Nashville Road in Franklin.
