Petroleum line leak causes fire, evacuation in Muhlenberg County

HENDERSON, Ky. – Emergency personnel are responding to a large fire in Muhlenberg County Monday afternoon.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department told WEHT that a fire in the area of Bard Hill Road and US Highway 62 is a result of a petroleum line leak.

MCSD responded and is assisting in evacuating residents in the area along KY 175 South.
