Firefighters respond to submerged vehicle accident in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Fire Department System (WCFDS) responded to several accidents Tuesday.

According to a social media post, WCFDS personnel received a 911 dispatch to a motor vehicle accident on Nashville Road near Woodburn Fire Station #2. A passerby told dispatch a vehicle had left the roadway.

Firefighters located a vehicle almost entirely submerged in a water detention area at the scene.

WCFDS says the driver safely exited the vehicle before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters responded to several motor vehicle accidents throughout the day, according to the post.

Officials ask motorists to drive with caution during weather events.
