Warren County Sheriff’s Office announces next traffic safety checkpoint date
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a Traffic Safety Checkpoint on June 12 from 8 pm to 11:30 pm.
WCSO says the possible locations are:
- 3000 Cemetery Road
- 6000 Glasgow Road
- 8000 Block Smiths Grove Scottsville Road
- 2100 Block Plum Springs Road
The checkpoints are endorsed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The organizations say studies show that the checkpoints reduce crashes by 10 to 15 percent.
