1 dead, 2 injured after collision in Greenup County

GREENUP, Ky. – One person is dead and two others are injured following a collision in Greenup County on Wednesday.

According to the Kentucky State Police, around 9:25 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle wreck near the intersection of Industrial Parkway and County Road 1630 in Greenup County.

Authorities say a preliminary investigation found a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Abigail Miller of Vanceburg traveled left of center and hit another vehicle head on.

Milller was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greenup County Coroner.

The two occupants of the second vehicle were transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

The collision remains under investigation.
