BRADD, Warren County secure $850,000 grant for new DSSKY facility

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The new Buddy House is one step closer to becoming a reality.
The Barren River Area Development District (BRADD) and the Warren County Fiscal Court secured $850,000 to construct the new Down Syndrome of Southern Kentucky (DSSKY) Buddy House, according to a release.
DSSKY is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit that provides education, networking, and support to individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
The new Buddy House will be built at 5520 Scottsville Road in Bowling Green.
Officials say the new story-building will provide DSSKY with increased accessibility and more space for programs.
DSSKY is currently located at 522 State Street in Bowling Green.
