Glasgow Police Department to conduct ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign through end of May

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is conducting the “Click It or Ticket” campaign through May 31.
According to Glasgow police, Kentuckians are reminded to buckle up and secure children properly in car or booster seats to promote safety throughout the year.
The Glasgow Police Department says it will have additional units patrolling to ensure drivers are traveling safely and wearing seat belts.
The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states when worn correctly, seat belts reduce the risk of death by 45% for front seat occupants and by 60% for pickup truck, SUV and minivan occupants, police say.
