KYTC completes installation of all-way stop in Glasgow for traffic study

GLASGOW, Ky. – A traffic study is underway in Glasgow.
An update from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 informed the public that the intersection of U.S. 31 – EX Race Street and Front Street is now an all-way stop.
On April 30, stop signs were installed after the signal was put on a flashing red light.
For the next 90 days, KYTC will evaluate the intersection to determine if the all-way stop should be permanent.
On both streets, utility companies are moving the lines to new poles, causing the signals to move.
KYTC says the collected data shows that the intersection’s traffic counts no longer meet federal guidelines for a signal.
