Glasgow man arrested following rape investigation
GLASGOW, Ky- According to a release from the Glasgow police department, an investigation led to the arrest of 49-year-old Raymond Goldsmith of Glasgow.
Goldsmith is now being charged with 1st degree rape of a victim under the age of 12, 1st degree sodomy of a victim under the age of 12, 1st degree abuse of a victim under the age of 12, Procuring or promoting the use of electronic means, and distribution of obscene matter to minors.
Goldsmith was lodged in the Barren County detention center with a $250,000 cash bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
