Emergency personnel rescue 2 stranded on Kentucky River Dam

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Emergency personnel saved two stranded individuals on April 23.

According to a social media post, the City of Frankfort Fire and EMS responded to a report of two individuals stranded in a boat on the Kentucky River Dam.

Officials say the individuals were safely rescued with assistance from the Franklin County Fire Department, Frankfort/Franklin County Emergency Management and Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
