1 dead in fatal Muhlenberg County crash
GREENVILLE, Ky. – A woman is dead following a crash in Muhlenberg County.
According to the Greenville Police Department, officers responded to Robert L. Draper Way (KY 189 Bypass) Friday morning to a report of a single-vehicle collision.
The department’s preliminary investigation indicates that a 70-year-old woman, driving an SUV, was traveling north near Muhlenberg County High School when her vehicle went off the roadway and overturned.
GPD says the woman was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment, where she later died.
Two passengers, an adult male and a juvenile, were transported to an Owensboro hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
