Corvette ZR1X sets new track record at NCM Motorsports Park

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The NCM Motorsports Park announced a new track record set Monday by the Corvette ZR1X, marking a major milestone in the facility’s history.
According to a release by the NCM Motorsports Park, the Corvette ZR1X has previously made headlines with record-setting performances at some the world’s most renowned circuits, including Germany’s prestigious Nürburgring.
The release states this latest achievement adds NCM Motorsports Park to the list.
The production car record lap at NCM Motorsports Park was set by a team of engineers from General Motors, with an official lap time of 2:02:11.
The run reportedly surpasses the previous track record of 2:02:86 set by driver Andy Pilgrim in the McLaren Senna.
“This is an incredibly exciting moment in track history,” said Chief Executive Officer Greg Waldron. “Watching this remarkable car come to life on the track is truly something special, it’s a powerful showcase of the performance and engineering that define it. We’re proud to play a role in this chapter of Corvette history.”
