National Corvette Museum begins first day of ‘Bash’
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One of the National Corvette Museum’s most popular events is underway in Bowling Green.
Corvette enthusiasts from across the country have traveled to the museum for “Bash,” an annual event that celebrates the Corvette community and gives fans a chance to connect and learn more about the iconic car.
Attendees can show off their vehicles in a car show or visit one of several “pit stops,” where museum staff share behind-the-scenes insights and in-depth information about items in the collection.
But museum officials say it’s the energy from attendees that makes the event special each year.
“The Corvette community is extremely unique. It’s unlike anywhere else because it’s people who love power, innovation and cars — and who build strong friendships,” said Ryan Eichler, director of marketing and communications for the National Corvette Museum. “It’s easy to strike up a conversation here. You start talking about Corvettes, and 30 minutes later, you’ve learned something about someone new and their car. It really is a great group.”
“Bash” continues through Saturday and is open to the public, even for those who do not own a Corvette.
