BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Venue hosted the Warren County Republican Party’s Lincoln Dinner on Thursday night.

More than 200 people attended the event, including several candidates in Kentucky’s U.S. Senate race.

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul and local Warren County officials were also in attendance.

Organizers say the event gave community members a chance to hear directly from candidates about their plans for Warren County and the state.

Warren County Judge-Executive, Doug Gorman, spoke about what the event means for the Bowling Green community.

“Well, I think it shows the popularity we have in the Republican Party,” Gorman said. “There’s a lot of excitement and a lot of buzz. People are committed and want to continue supporting conservative family values, not just in Kentucky.”
