Warren County fire departments, emergency personnel respond to tractor-trailer fire

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Warren County Fire Department System (WCFDS) responded to a tractor-trailer fire Saturday morning.

According to a release, Alvaton and Plano Fire Departments were dispatched to Interstate 65 southbound at the 14-mile marker to a tractor-trailer fire at approximately 7 am.

When units arrived, they located the tractor-trailer on fire at the rear axle.

WCFDS says the driver detached the tractor from the trailer.

Fire units extinguished the fire underneath the tractor-trailer.

No injuries have been reported.

The Kentucky State Police, Warren County Emergency Management, and other truck drivers assisted at the scene.
