Run for Autism gathers Bowling Green community for a cause

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Autism Awareness Month is officially underway, and the Bowling Green community gathered to show its support.

The 19th annual LifeSkills Run for Autism took place Saturday at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Registered participants took part in either a 4-mile run around Western Kentucky University’s campus, a 1-mile Family Fun Walk or a 1-mile Children’s Walk.

The event was hosted by the Suzanne Vitale Clinical Education Complex at WKU, which offers individualized services for neurodiversity.
