T.J. Regional Health hosts annual women’s conference
CAVE CITY, Ky. — Women from across the region gathered in Cave City for a day centered on empowerment, leadership, and community connection.
The T.J. Samson Women’s Conference, held at the Cave Area Conference Center, brought together attendees for a full schedule of speakers, health resources and local vendors.
Organizers say the event is designed to create a supportive environment where women can learn from one another and leave feeling inspired.
“There is a lot of us women here that support each other, and I think that’s everybody is having a really nice time,” said Tammy Aldridge, assistant manager at Glasgow People’s Bank.
Dozens of vendors filled the venue, offering everything from health information to shopping opportunities, while also giving attendees a chance to connect with businesses and organizations in the area.
Leaders say the conference highlights the importance of both physical and mental well-being, while encouraging women to take an active role in their health.
“Well, I’m just so glad that we have a day like this that people can come and celebrate other women, learn about their health and listen to the motivational speakers that we have and just absolutely follow the path to good health and screenings and keeping up with their body and soul,” said Martha McCoy with the Kentucky Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc.
The conference ran through the afternoon, with organizers hoping attendees leave with new knowledge, meaningful connections, and a renewed sense of purpose.
