Wanted Ohio County man flees police, facing dozens of charges

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – A wanted Ohio County man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing police in Grayson County.
According to a release, the Kentucky State Police troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle operator on Owensboro Road in Caneyville Friday afternoon. Troopers say the motorcycle did not have a registration plate.
Troopers say the operator did not stop, leading to a high-speed pursuit.
The troopers terminated the pursuit and began investigating the operator’s identity.
The release states that the investigation determined that the operator is 49-year-old Ronald Geary, of Beaver Dam, who has several outstanding arrest warrants.
On Saturday, troopers located Geary and arrested him without incident.
Geary is charged with fleeing or evading police, 1st degree (motor vehicle), wanton endangerment, 1st degree – police officer, speeding 26 mph or greater over the limit, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to signal / improper signal, improper display of registration plates, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding in a restricted zone.
Geary was also served warrants from Ohio and Warren Counties. Charges include flagrant non-support, additional fleeing and evading offenses, wanton endangerment, and several traffic violations.
Geary was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
